General Amenities for Residence Halls

All JSU residential facilities are air-conditioned, provide free utilities (including Internet and cable access), and free laundry. Custodial service is provided to clean public areas only in the residence halls Monday-Fri.  Security is provided by the University Police Section (UPD) during the dark, and boosted measures have been implemented at each building. Resident Administration (RAs) work security during visitation hours, and Nighttime Desk-bound Assistants (NDAs) provide security after visitation hours. Card admission systems at each front entrance provide additional security for our residents.
