I rented two movies for my kids and they got misplaced in the couch for a week and a one-half and they charged me $seventy each pic. Information technology is difficult enough for gas and to put food on the table for them to be ripping people off like that. The movie never costed $lxx initially.

I hadn't rented from Redbox in, at least, a year but probably more than. I'd stopped frequenting redbox because: 1. Their choice wasn't very adept anymore, 2. I kept forgetting to return the movies on time and, 3. The amount they let you run up before cut off the charges was nigh double if you'd get it from the store. Wanting to treat my grandchildren to a movie solar day or night, however, I decided to give it some other try.

Needless to say, I kept forgetting to return the movies. Decided to call and come across if I could purchase them rather than return and what I'd paid be credited towards the purchase. 1. The rep, not long into the call, asked: "Are you that lazy that y'all weren't able to plough them in on time? I said: "Excuse me?" When she answered me she inverse her words and asked: "Are you lot and so decorated that you weren't able to return them on time?" I don't know if I'g more irritated I paid her the respect to keep my absurd and offer her an explanation; or, if I'm more irritated at the audacity she had to speak to me/a customer in that way. ii. The 2 movies I had I was charged $36 for one and $40 for the other. I asked the rep if it actually cost them that much to replace and she replied, "yeah."

three. She had the nervus to offering a $10 credit for each picture show if I still returned them. I told her no. I've already paid for them. How impaired do they think we are--that, they think they can offer $10 for a movie they've charged triple for, isn't worth that much in the commencement place, have already replaced (for far cheaper), leaving the customer with having paid about, in my case, $twenty and $26 for a movie I no longer have? Those movies can stay in that redbox and rot. You reap what you sow redbox. Do to others what you'd take done to you.

If you use cell telephone or roku television receiver you only become a handful of free to stream movies. It says complimentary to stream when you click on information technology. It so says to rent or buy. I chosen. They said windows 10 was required for that just yet nowhere exercise you see the minimum requirement to run the pic Just if I want to pay for information technology moving-picture show streams no problem. Something is off hither. Faux advertising.

I incorrectly received an email from Redbox including details of a charge. They didn't respond when I replied asking them to confirm that this was a instance of someone mistyping an e-mail; as a effect I had to cancel my debit bill of fare as a precaution. Would requite cypher stars if it were an option.

The customers service is very very rude, don't hire from Redbox anymore. I am done with this company!!! I think they are not happy with their job and waiting to get fired. I will tell all of my friends not to rent from red box.

I'd recommend staying abroad from Redbox and here'southward why. Rented 2 movies. Nobody and the little things. What came out of the car was nobody and Tom and Jerry. Safeway unable to assist brash trying to rent the lilliputian things again then contact redbox. I did this. Long story brusque. Redbox claimed they refunded my coin for tom and Jerry. Plus said they sent me a code for a free flick. No refund. No code in blank electronic mail.

Spent 52 minutes on the phone only to exist asunder. Called over again another 40 minutes. Redbox has charged me 26 bucks onto of my 2.00 rental. They land they meet nothing wrong. I asked to abolish my account they hung up over again. Finally via chat I was sent an email to request cancelation. By the way. No way to cancel with redbox app. The person ended the chat before I was able to answer. Client service is the worst I've experienced. I take to now contact my bank to dispute charges. Now here'due south the part YOU Demand TO KNOW. Poor customer care. Keep charging my card. Not willing to refund the over charges. No mode to cancel account through app, conversation or phone.

I purchased at Redbox a lot and took responsibility whenever I turned a disc in late or lost it, etc.. Right? Considering that'due south what you practice, y'all accept responsibility for your mistakes. Redbox has charged me $seventy+ in this final week for disc that I turned in weeks ago and told me they would not give me a refund because they did non run across the discs in the kiosks I told them I returned information technology to. When I returned them, I got the "thank you" screen after just didn't know I was supposed to receive a confirmation of receipt so I didn't know to look for ane until I talked to them virtually a refund. I never got the receipt btw until they charged me an arm and a leg. Simply yet they are sitting there telling me they will non give me a ** refund for their own mistakes. Oh and i of the discs didn't even work btw merely I didn't make a fuss at starting time because I only had it for 2 days and then no big bargain correct? Yeah... Never renting from them again.

If in that location was a rating lower than one star I would rate this experience. I usually do not write bad ratings but I took the time to exercise so to forestall anyone else from getting scammed. I rented 2 movies and I personally turned information technology in the next day in the 711 Red Box without experiencing any error from the automobile. Just today I detect a posted transaction from Redbox for 67.32. I spoke to customer service and they claimed that I did non return the movies and will not exercise a refund. I practise not recommend anyone to use them, yous will get scammed.

I normally do not post reviews unless I am that disappointed with the company. First things offset, I have rented and rented over and over again with Redbox and normally do not have whatever issues. Well, the last ii times that I have rented both boxes we're having technical issues. Then, I called right away to customer service and they told me I would exist refunded. A few weeks go by and I am being charged 42$ out of my account. I continue to telephone call them again and they say they will refund me for that. I then receive a refund for 11$ and another of 3$ the same 24-hour interval.

At this signal, I am still waiting on a refund for the other transaction they charged me by accident and miscommunication. And then, I proceed to call them once again... I got hung up on 4 times waiting to speak with a supervisor. The last person I talked to (Jai) was rude and wouldn't transfer me to a supervisor. Needless to say, I cancelled my menu and volition not be using Redbox ever again. Cheers for such a terrible experience.

Been using for the by 2 months with a Groupon and every time I social club, exit my house to get the DVD, the box is either broken or DVD unavailable, thus I have to come dwelling empty handed and and so spend fourth dimension calling Redbox customer service.
